Music Instrument Repair Technician – Music & Arts

Join the Music & Arts team as a Music Instrument Repair Technician, responsible for repairing musical string instruments efficiently and ensuring they return in good playing order.

Responsibilities
  • Work on rental returned instruments in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensure each instrument is repaired according to established quality guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records for production reporting.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Apprenticeship or a diploma from an accredited repair school.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English.
  • Ability to use standard repair shop tooling and equipment.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience working on musical instruments daily.
  • Skilled understanding and function of one or all brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments, with the ability to repair them promptly and efficiently.
Preferred Requirements
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience working on musical instruments daily.
  • Advanced understanding and function of one or all brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments, with the ability to repair them promptly and efficiently.
