Job summary

Guitar Center is hiring a Music Teacher to deliver lessons using our curriculum and to help students grow and enjoy playing music within a supportive store culture.

You will partner with the Lessons Lead, schedule and retain students, and communicate progress with families while upholding integrity, inclusion, and musical passion. 3+ years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in Music, Education, or related field or Bachelor’s Degree available.
• Ability to pass Guitar Center specific training and certifications.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency in teaching drums, guitar, or keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Teach students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Increase student headcount and ensure continued growth and engagement.
• Assist with customer service to build long-term student relationships; other duties as assigned.
