Qualifications

• Proficient drummer with knowledge of genres including rock, pop, blues.
• Experience teaching or performing with students preferred.
• Ability to connect with children, teens, and adults.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Reading music or rhythm notation is a plus.

• Provide engaging one-on-one drum lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with School of Rock's proven music curriculum
• Prepare students for live performances and seasonal shows
• Track student progress and communicate updates with parents and staff
• Collaborate with other instructors and music directors to support ensemble rehearsals

Requirements:

• Proficient drummer with strong knowledge of various genres including rock, pop, and blues
• Prior teaching, gigging experience in a band, and/or music instruction experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Passion for music education and performance
• Ability to read music or strong familiarity with rhythm notation is a plus
