Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Music & Lyrics Expert (Bengali) for a remote contract up to 6 months, 20 hours per week. You will evaluate AI-generated music, rate lyrics against quality standards, and compare lyrics to published songs to identify similarities.

Role requires native Bengali proficiency and experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist. You will work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and help improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Bengali with ability to follow English instructions.
• Experience as songwriter/lyricist/composer or music journalist familiar with Bengali music.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Preferred

• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition.
• Credited or published songwriting work.
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Bengali genres, sub-genres, and artists.
