Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Music Teacher to deliver lessons using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum and nurture student growth while upholding our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

You will work to increase student enrollment, provide quality instruction, and collaborate with store staff to ensure a positive learning experience for each student and family.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in (e.g., Drums, Guitar, Keyboard).
• Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the area they teach.

Responsibilities

• Store Culture & Excellence: collaborate with the Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount; teach using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum; support Customer service to build long-term students.
• Student & Parent Partnership: communicate progress to students and families; build trusting relationships; align goals with parents.
• Requirements: teach the instrument they are proficient in; demonstrate competence clearly.
