Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. in Fort Worth is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to deliver lessons using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum and to help grow our student base while upholding our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

You will partner with the Lessons Lead to schedule and retain students, teach instruments you are proficient in (drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.), and contribute to outstanding customer service to build lasting student relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in (e.g., Drums, Guitar, Keyboard).
• Demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will teach.

Responsibilities

• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long-term students by creating a great experience.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Communicate with students and families on progress and goals.
• Engage with parents to share student developments and milestones.
• Support a welcoming, inclusive learning environment.
