Job summary

Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Princeton, New Jersey, seeks a Leave Replacement Music, Drama & Instrumental Teacher for Winter and Spring 2027 to inspire students from pre-school through middle school.

The role includes teaching general music from pre-school through 4th grade, drama from 1st through 4th grade, directing, stage managing, and collaborating with Middle and Upper School instrumental ensembles, with a focus on inclusive teaching and teamwork.

Qualifications

Requires degree in music or music education and experience with theater.
Experience teaching early childhood, elementary, and middle school students; instrumental ensembles.
Ability to work well with teams; collaboration in faith-based/single-sex environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach general music classes from pre-school through 4th grade.
Teach drama classes from 1st through 4th grade; direct stage and musical direction.
Work with Middle and Upper School instrumental ensembles.
