It is the long-standing policy of the KSC Music Department to provide pianistic support to both vocal and instrumental majors for their Workshop Performances, and to provide support to all voice majors in Applied Lessons. The music faculty believe that collaboration between singer/instrumentalist and pianist on a regular basis contributes to the overall development and consistent progress of the music major. The pianist will also perform in Lessons, Auditions, Juries, and forward-facing events for the Music Department. They may also play rehearsals and concerts for choirs, chamber ensembles and large ensembles as needed. This is an open call for both vocal and instrumental specialty pianists.
