Job summary

PEM seeks a Marketing TikTok intern to brainstorm, create, and produce engaging videos for the museum’s TikTok channel. You will work closely with the Social Media Manager to showcase the museum, its collections, exhibitions and programs.

The role requires in-person video capture at the Salem museum and participation in weekly professional development sessions; interns are fully onsite for 12 weeks in 2027.

Qualifications

• This internship requires a portfolio of TikTok videos demonstrating creativity, storytelling, and production skills.
• A passion for art and culture and a desire to share it with a broad audience on social media.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with museum staff and visitors.
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently and with the team.
• Ability to work in-person for video content capture.
