Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time Security Guard Museum Customer Support in New York, NY. You will monitor, patrol, and assist visitors while providing exceptional service in a cultural institution setting.

This role emphasizes a visible security presence, incident response, and collaboration with staff to ensure a welcoming experience for visitors and staff alike.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, researchers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures within a cultural institution setting.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with protection of collections, exhibits, reading rooms, and other sensitive areas.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public galleries, collection areas, offices, entrances, and surrounding perimeter.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and promptly.
