The Cook Museum of Natural Science in Decatur, AL is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team. This part-time role (up to 30 hours/week) focuses on creative design, writing, and digital communications to promote our programs and events.

You will shoot and edit event photos and videos, update signs and handouts, manage outreach appearances, add events to the website, and draft weekly MailChimp newsletters. The ideal candidate embraces feedback and aligns all work with our brand standards.

Formación

• Creative design and computer skills required.
• Proficient writer and effective communicator.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and Wordpress preferred.
• Open to constructive feedback and revisions.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Shoot, edit, and organize event photography and social video content.
• Update printed materials and signage.
• Represent the Museum at outreach events.
• Add events to the Museum's website.
