Job summary

Dallas Holocaust Museum seeks an Experienced Museum Educator to support programs for secondary grades, develop curricula, and guide teachers. You will collaborate with the Education team and engage in school outreach.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, at least two years in education, strong presentation skills, and willingness to travel occasionally; Spanish fluency is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, History, Holocaust History or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant professional work experience in formal or informal education.
  • Experience developing, adapting, and evaluating standards-aligned curricula and resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work on a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with programming, curriculum, and logistics for education partnerships and secondary grades.
  • Develop and update curricula, lesson plans, and teacher guides for secondary grades.
  • Teach virtual, in-person, and on-campus education programs.
  • Support education outreach to schools and educators.
  • Assist in educator professional development programs and docent training logistics.
  • Onboard and manage seasonal interns and volunteers.
