Ultipro is seeking a part-time Museum Clerk to help run two Mansfield museums. You will greet visitors, lead tours, and assist with exhibits, education programs, and historical research. Saturday work is regular, with a weekly cap of 19 hours.

Under the direction of the Museum Manager, the Museum Clerk supports daily operations at the Man House Museum and the Mansfield Historical Museum. This part-time position greets and assists visitors, leads tours, and supports exhibits, educational programs, and historical research. Saturday work is a regular part of the schedule.
The Museum Clerk is often the first person visitors meet, and the role helps preserve and share the history of the Mansfield community. Friendly customer service and careful handling of historical items are central to the job.
Work is performed in two public museums, including a historic house museum, with frequent contact with visitors of all ages. The part-time schedule includes regular Saturday hours, and occasional evening or weekend hours may be needed for special events.
This position is classified as light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently. Work involves standing and moving about for sustained periods while leading tours, assisting visitors, and setting up exhibits.
The employee must be able to move about both museum buildings, including stairs and multiple floors, and use a step ladder to reach exhibit and storage areas. The employee must be able to move and arrange exhibit materials and delicate historical items with care, operate a computer, telephone, and standard office equipment, and communicate effectively with visitors in person and by phone.
Work is performed primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor exposure during special events.
No significant hazards. Collection care and housekeeping may involve exposure to dust and routine cleaning products.
