Job summary

Long-Lewis Auto Group is seeking a Service Technician in Muscle Shoals, AL to grow with a customer-focused service department. You will diagnose and repair vehicles across makes/models, using scan tools, multimeters, and proven processes.

The role emphasizes accurate diagnostics, collaboration with service advisors, safety compliance, and organized, efficient work ethic in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional technician experience in a dealership or high-volume shop.
• Master Technician Certification a plus but not required.
• Ford Certification a plus but not required.
• ASE certifications a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate vehicle diagnostics including check engine lights, drivability issues, warning indicators, and electrical problems.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance, primarily diagnose on all makes and models—everything from brake jobs to suspension work and basic services.
• Use diagnostic tools (scan tools, multimeters, etc.) to identify issues and recommend proper repair procedures.
• Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication.
• Document all work performed and findings accurately and thoroughly.
• Adhere to safety and manufacturer repair guidelines.
• Keep workspace organized and tools maintained.

Description

Long-Lewis of Muscle Shoals is looking for a Service Technician who’s ready to grow, perform advanced diagnostics, and be part of a strong, customer-focused service department.

What You’ll Do

• Perform accurate vehicle diagnostics including check engine lights, drivability issues, warning indicators, and electrical problems.
