Job summary

MUSC Health – Kershaw Medical Center is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to support Endocrinology services, focusing on complex endocrine disorders and long-term patient care. The Endocrinology APP will document care in Epic EHR and participate in quality improvement initiatives, with opportunities for professional growth and a balanced work-life

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification and licensure.
• Prior experience in endocrinology or chronic disease management preferred.
• Strong interest in endocrinology and long-term patient care.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with endocrine disorders (diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, osteoporosis).
• Provide ongoing management and medication optimization for chronic endocrine conditions.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, lifestyle modification, and treatment adherence.
• Collaborate with endocrinologists, primary care providers, nursing staff, and care coordinators.
• Support outpatient endocrinology services with potential inpatient consultation as needed.
• Document care in Epic EHR and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
