Requirements include a JD and 3+ years in municipal and/or redevelopment law; strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities; and an interest in public finance. Onsite, full-time role with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 3+ years of municipal law and/or redevelopment law experience.
• Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Experience advising municipalities, public entities, developers, or related clients.
• Interest or experience in public finance is preferred.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Advise municipalities, public entities, and private clients on municipal and redevelopment law matters.
• Counsel clients regarding public contracting, procurement, affordable housing, and public finance.
• Structure and negotiate redevelopment agreements and complex commercial transactions.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, ordinances, resolutions, redevelopment plans, and other legal documents.
• Provide legal guidance involving land use, tax incentives, and redevelopment financing.
• Attend municipal, redevelopment, and other public meetings, including occasional evening meetings.
• Manage multiple client matters while delivering exceptional legal analysis and client service.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas on sophisticated public and private sector projects.
