Job summary

ms consultants, inc. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is seeking a Municipal Project Manager to lead municipal projects from planning through design and implementation.

The role emphasizes building client relationships across Western Pennsylvania and growing the firm’s municipal presence. The successful candidate will manage diverse project types, ensure on-time delivery within budget, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with regulatory and funding agencies to identify funding opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License (Pennsylvania).
• Project Management Experience in municipal engineering services.
• Experience leading municipal projects from planning through design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with clients to monitor and maintain satisfaction on all projects.
• Develop new projects based on the clients needs.
• Assist clients with short-to-long term capital improvement planning.
• Assist clients with project planning and funding procurement as needed.
• Plan and execute assigned projects at a high level.
• Coordinate QA/QC reviews of project deliverables with technical staff.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and design/drafting staff.
• Work with business development to expand municipal services in the region.
