MSA Professional Services seeks a Project Engineer - Mechanical to join our team in Wisconsin locations including Madison, Milwaukee, Appleton or Beaver Dam. This role leads and supports planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects to help communities operate safely and sustainably.

Qualifications

• ABET‑accredited civil engineering degree required.
• 4+ years post‑graduate engineering experience; municipal infrastructure preferred.
• PE license required or ability to acquire; Wisconsin licensure preferred.
• Experience with planning, design, bidding, and construction of municipal projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and development of municipal infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, studies, reports, design documents, and construction documents.
• Support projects involving streets, utilities, drainage, site improvements, and public works systems.
• Develop construction specifications, cost estimates, and schedules with focus on accuracy and constructability.
