The role emphasizes lifecycle exposure from planning through construction, with opportunities to lead projects, coordinate with clients, and apply asset management practices and funding strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience in municipal infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure planning and capital improvements programming initiatives.
• Develop water, wastewater, stormwater master plans and utility systems.
• Perform hydraulic analyses, calculations, and feasibility studies.
• Prepare plans, specs, bidding docs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with city staff, public works, and stakeholders to meet funding goals.
