RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide detailed design of various civil projects, including municipal, water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, and infrastructure upgrades
• Prepare contract documents suitable for bidding
• Prepare permit applications and pursue approval
• Prepare erosion and sediment control design for infrastructure projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent
• Ability to obtain Engineer in Training (EIT) within one year of hire
• Familiarity with land use regulations and permitting
• Familiarity with site plan and public infrastructure design, the Municipal Land Use Law, preparation of specifications, and engineering report writing
• Strong computer skills: MS Outlook, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Project
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
