Job summary

raSmith is seeking a Municipal Civil Engineer to design site civil projects across a variety of communities. You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for grading, stormwater, water and sewer infrastructure, roads, and parks. Hydrologic calculations and permitting tasks also form part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university.
• Zero to 4 years of experience in similar civil engineering areas.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
• Applicable U.S. based work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site civil engineering designs, plans, and estimates for projects (grading, drainage, water/sewer, roads, park amenities).
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations.
• Conduct research grant writing and permitting for projects.
• Construction observation fieldwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
