You’ll work closely with cities, counties, and special districts, providing legal counsel that shapes public policy and governance. We’re looking for a candidate with at least 4 years of municipal law experience who thrives in a collaborative, inclusive environment and is passionate about public service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Advising city councils, boards, and commissions during public meetings and closed sessions.
• Drafting and reviewing ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and policies.
• Providing counsel on issues related to the Brown Act, Public Records Act, conflicts of interest, and other public law matters.
• Assisting with land use, zoning, and CEQA compliance.
