Job summary

Sares Regis Group Residential of Newport Beach, California, is hiring a Maintenance Technician I for the Muse community in Oklahoma City, OK. The role supports turnover, repairs, and renovations across a 302-unit property and requires day shifts from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Ideal candidates bring multi-trade experience (electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, appliances), strong customer service, and the ability to read and follow service orders; a high school diploma or GED is

Qualifications

• Must have experience in all trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, appliances, etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in performing quality work; able to use required tools and machinery; professional interaction with co-workers, residents and vendors; knowledge and continued education of OSHA requirements; knowledge of MSDS requirements appropriate to the scope of work.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• High school diploma or GED, technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent customer service skills a must!
• Ability to work weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Works in turnover and renovation units and responds to maintenance service requests.
• Repairs both external and internal systems including drywall, painting, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC; extends to common areas.
• Participates in emergency and after hours coverage as required.
• Sets up and operates basic tools and equipment to repair or fabricate parts.
• Maintains inventory and prepares related paperwork.
• Keeps storage facilities and equipment orderly and functional.
