Job summary

KDC Construction is seeking a Skilled Tradesperson to perform hands-on duties across major trades including plumbing, electrical, concrete, flooring, roofing, framing, drywall, and finishing. You will read specs, use hand and power tools, and contribute to interior and exterior projects on ground-up, remodel, retrofit, and repair jobs.

You must be organized, safety-minded, and able to travel to various worksites, with occasional 24/7 emergency coverage.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and general trade experience preferred in major trades.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possesses tools required to perform job functions.
• Organized and dependable team player with solid communication skills.
• Must possess (or obtain) a valid state driver license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performs trades tasks across plumbing, electrical, concrete, flooring, roofing, painting, framing, drywall, and finishing.
• Operates and maintains tools and equipment including drills, saws, nail guns, hammers, and shovels.
• Reads instructions, specifications, and plans to determine work activities.
• Travels to different worksites to complete required tasks and projects.
• Maintains a clean, safe job site and follows Health, Safety, and Environmental Program.
• May assist other workers on construction and preconstruction assignments.
