Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Wooster, OH is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will work on the production floor maintaining and repairing equipment used in transforming sheet metal into HVAC components.

The role requires at least three years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and forklift certification. You will handle preventative maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance while supporting continuous operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship preferred.
• Associates degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance advantageous.
• At least three years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance with pneumatics and hydraulics.
• HVAC systems experience is a plus.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Adherence to safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill maintenance work orders and conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform both emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and enhance mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose issues, replace or repair components, and adjust machinery and workstations.
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report them for further action.
