Job summary

St. Charles Campus of Good Samaritan University Hospital, part of Catholic Health, seeks an ultrasound professional to perform routine ultrasound/echo exams and breast imaging. You will float between Commack, Centereach and St.

Charles Campus locations, bringing strong imaging skills to a high-quality care team. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited ultrasound school, with ARDMS/RDCS or eligibility within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an approved ultrasound program.
• Certifications: ARDMS/RDCS registration or eligibility within 6 months of hire.
• Skills: Strong breast and general imaging capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of ultrasound/echo exams with independent judgment.
• Moves, positions and transfers patients safely.
• Performs Doppler studies of carotid, abdomen, pelvis and small parts.
• Assists in breast biopsy procedures and may participate in OR procedures.
• Maintains orderliness and communicates with physicians, patients and families.
