Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment, multi-family, or residential maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, drywall, and painting.
• Basic carpentry skills and ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Comfortable using smartphone applications, digital work order systems, and property management software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Travel between multiple properties throughout the day and week.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair household appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and garbage disposals.
• Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and bathroom components.
• Perform general building maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions independently.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Utilize smartphone-based systems to manage work orders, document completed tasks, take photos, track mileage, and provide updates.
• Perform basic carpentry work as needed.
• Assist with unit turns, renovations, and move-in readiness preparation.
