Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
• Effective oral/written communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Ability to handle stressful situations

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with a focus on accuracy
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
• Ensure pharmacy complies with laws including HIPAA
• Maintain professional image and adhere to dress standards
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels and records
• Maintain proper records and security for scheduled drugs
• Use accuracy tools and reports to ensure quality control
• Support training of staff and maintain clean work area
