Job summary

Chicago ENT - Advanced Center for Specialty Care is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. You will support Physicians, NPs, and RNs in an ambulatory ENT setting, help manage patient flow, and maintain exam rooms across multiple clinic locations.

This role requires CPR certification, a high school diploma or GED, and prior clinical experience; travel between clinics is required. Schedule may be 7AM–7PM with up to 40 hours weekly, including Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred.
• Minimum of two years clinical experience preferred.
• Previous surgical experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in an ambulatory care setting.
• Maintain patient flow, exam and treatment room upkeep, and perform basic skills such as vital signs and point of care testing.
• Administer intramuscular injections, immunizations, and over-the-counter medications under the direction of a Physician.
• Cross trained over time in ENT, Sleep, Allergy, Cosmetic, CT, and Triage.
• Available to work scheduled hours travel between all office locations where their assigned provider hosts clinic.
• Lead assigns a weekly schedule not to exceed 40 hours.
• Schedule may be between 7AM to 7PM and 5 days including Monday to Saturday.
• Must stand for long periods of time and lift up-to 30 pounds.
