Job summary

Waffle House, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service multiple restaurants in the Newark, DE area. You will install and repair restaurant and refrigeration equipment, perform electrical, plumbing and HVAC work, and handle roof repairs and door/tile maintenance.

The role requires a hands-on problem-solver who can work independently yet collaborate with restaurant teams. A strong safety mindset and attention to detail will help you keep our facilities running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to install and repair restaurant equipment and refrigeration systems.
• Familiar with electrical wiring (low voltage, 120/208V) and basic HVAC systems.
• Experience with plumbing and general building maintenance.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair restaurant and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform electrical work including low voltage and 120/208V systems.
• Handle plumbing maintenance and general building repairs.
• Maintain HVAC systems up to 5 tons.
• Repair roofs, doors, blinds, and tiles as needed.
