Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Production Operator for our Middletown, IA facility. This on-site, full-time role focuses on maintaining production flow and quality standards across multiple shifts during orientation.

Responsibilities include assembling components, moving materials, applying QC checks, packing finished items, and participating in safety trainings. A strong team player with a high school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble inert and explosive components into rounds or subassemblies with strict safety and quality checks.
• Move materials across the production area and between stations using carts.
• Apply quality control to visually inspect materials and segregate non-conforming items.
• Stencil and pack items, load into transport vehicles, and record production activity.
• Participate in training and adhere to safety, health, and environmental protocols.
• Identify process improvements to align operations with customer requirements.
