Madison Communities is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in Savannah, GA. You will perform day-to-day maintenance to keep multifamily properties in top condition, from painting and plumbing to electrical work and carpentry.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team-oriented mindset with solid communication skills.
• 1+ year of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred).
• Certifications (HVAC, EPA, CPO) are a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to residents and teammates.
• Handle day-to-day maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Respond to service requests quickly and professionally.
• Ensure apartments are safe, functional, and move-in ready.
• Work with vendors on specialized projects like landscaping and asphalt repairs.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas safe and organized.
