Qualifications

• Proven knowledge and experience working with current media creation tools and contemporary newsroom systems.
• Strong writing and copy-editing skills required.
• Ability to generate enterprise stories and hold power to account.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Reporter.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce and write stories for the station’s newscast across platforms.
• Provide on-air news as directed by management.
• Engage with local community members.
• Review material for fairness, accuracy, and balance.
• Collaborate with Producers, Editors, Anchors and News Management.
