Palo Pinto General Hospital is seeking a Multimodality Tech PRN to provide specialized support across imaging modalities. You will maintain and troubleshoot advanced multimodality equipment, train staff, and collaborate with radiologists and biomedical engineers to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role emphasizes independent work in a clinical setting, adherence to safety standards, and proactive problem-solving to improve diagnostic quality. PRN scheduling and flexible shifts are common.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or graduate of Radiologic Technology Program.
• Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent credential relevant to multimodality imaging.
• Demonstrated experience with multiple imaging modalities.
• Strong understanding of imaging equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills for training and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced maintenance and troubleshooting on multimodality imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with clinical and technical staff to optimize imaging protocols and workflows.
• Provide on-demand technical support and staff training on multimodality imaging technologies.
• Ensure regulatory and institutional compliance for equipment safety and data management.
• Document service activities and resolutions to maintain equipment records.

The role requires collaboration with radiologists, technologists, and biomedical engineers to facilitate seamless integration and functionality of diverse imaging technologies. The incumbent will play a critical role in training staff on new systems and updates, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency by leveraging technical proficiency and problem‑solving skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.

• Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or graduate of Radiologic Technology Program

These positions fill-in when FT employees are on PTO.
These positions are PRN and work variable schedules. Positions are eligible for overtime and shift differential, when applicable.
