Job summary

Bridgton Hospital in Bridgton, ME seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform Diagnostic Radiography, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures per department protocols. You will be the first line interface with patients, ensuring imaging needs are met with high quality standards.

The role participates in PI/QC activities, supports Performance Improvement, and may oversee the radiology area in the absence of management.

Qualifications

• State licensure and fluoroscopy permit required.
• National certifications in two modalities required.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures per department protocols.
• Functions as the first line interface with customers and meets imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities and assists in the Performance Improvement Program.
• Oversees radiology area and/or staff in Manager's/Director's absence.
• Maintains department supplies and promotes teamwork and customer service.
• Schedules for assigned sub departments and ensures imaging processing and PACS transmission.
