Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in San Antonio, TX seeks a Multi-Modality Technologist capable of performing in two or more imaging modalities (DR, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography). Requires independent judgment and flexible rotation across modalities to cover assigned areas.

Education: Accredited Radiology Technology program graduate. Experience: 1 year in medical setting. Must have basic computer skills and excellent customer service. Texas MRT by TMB required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required
• 1 year of experience in a medical setting required
• Basic computer experience required
• Excellent customer service experience required

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of diagnostic procedures using state-of-the-art imaging equipment in more than one modality
• Interacts with patients and care providers to coordinate procedures and maintain patient care
• Rotates within departments/clinics for proper coverage as needed
• Program the computer after procedures to ensure data is stored in PACS
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with Infection Control standards
• Accurately code and enter charges in the billing system
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional communication
• Demonstrate adherence to CHRISTUS Health core values
• Perform other duties as assigned
