Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX is seeking a Multimodality Technologist to perform imaging in two or more modalities (including CT, MR, Nuc Med, IR) for ambulatory and hospital patients under radiologist supervision.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited program and less than 1 year of experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates; position is nights and on-site. Benefits are offered as part of our comprehensive package.

• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 year of Experience

Responsabilités

• Performs high-quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol promptly.
• Demonstrates an expertise of radiation dose reference levels and monitoring.
• Uses iSTAT point of care testing for obtaining creatinine levels.
• Utilizes AIDET to communicate with patients and assess tolerance.
• Prepares patient and area for the procedure; positions patient; selects settings and exposure factors.
• Maintains safety, infection-control, and radiation policies; uses sterile techniques when needed.
• Maintains equipment and work area; coordinates with engineers and physicists.
• Obtains and maintains all relevant documentation and maintains imaging records.
