Job summary

CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region Urgent and Emergency Care in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Multi-Modality Tech to deliver high-quality imaging across two or more modalities. You will position patients, operate multiple imaging platforms, and uphold radiation safety while providing compassionate patient care.

In this role you will lead and communicate with unit personnel, ensure accurate image capture, and respond to patient needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• One (1) year imaging experience
• Registered Radiology Technologist: ARRT (CT), ARRT (M), ARRT (MR), R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT) ; R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT)
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients, and all other individuals.
• Produces quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
• Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
• As assigned by management, performs technologist duties of other registered modality.
• Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports / documents unusual occurrences and records patient's condition.
• Notifies supervisor of equipment problems and logs the service call/problem per department procedure.
