Job summary

St. David’s North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Multi-modality Technologist to perform x-ray and CT exams with high diagnostic quality across all patient ages. You will follow protocols, operate CT equipment, and support radiology staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely STAT responses.

The role requires an Associate’s degree, ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications, TMB MRT license, and BLS certification, with at least one year of CT experience in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• One year experience as Radiology Technologist in acute care setting.
• One year experience performing CT procedures.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Completion of CT and cross-sectional anatomy courses.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• Current BLS certification per policy.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• ARRT (CT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray and CT exams per standards and policies.
• Produce scans of optimal diagnostic quality across neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Follow established scanning and viewing protocols.
• Operate CT scanner and related equipment efficiently.
• Complete quality scans promptly to meet STAT and urgent demands.
• Demonstrate proficiency in scanning trauma and challenging patients.
• Use power injector within limits; understand boundaries.
• Document all procedures and assist Radiologist during invasive procedures.
• Ensure CT and department equipment function properly.
