You will optimize freight costs, manage carrier relationships, and ensure timely, compliant movement of materials using ERP and TMS, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of logistics experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience coordinating rail, truck, and inland waterway barge operations.
• Strong knowledge of railcar scheduling and rail fleet operations.
• Experience negotiating freight contracts with carriers.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Transportation Management Software (TMS).
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Oversee inbound and outbound transportation across rail, truck, and barge.
• Coordinate railcar scheduling, barge shipments, and roadway movements.
• Negotiate freight rates and manage carrier contracts.
• Develop relationships with railroad operators, barge companies, and freight brokers.
• Optimize rail, port, and transloading operations to reduce costs.
• Ensure shipping documentation accuracy, including bills of lading and manifests.
• Monitor shipments using ERP and TMS; analyze freight performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in logistics efficiency.
