Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow to join a rigorously designed NIH-supported program spanning optical spectroscopy, imaging, transcriptomics, and multi-omics data integration in a clinically embedded translational setting.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, engineers, molecular biologists, data scientists, and biostatisticians to develop multimodal disease markers and treatment response signals.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in biomedical engineering, biophotonics/optics, molecular/ cell biology, or a closely related field.
• Experience in vibrational spectroscopy (Raman, SRS, SHG) or molecular biology techniques.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and/or R for image processing or analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills and reliability in time-sensitive workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present complex multimodal data.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
