Job summary

The Videographer/Video Editor is the primary videographer for the Air & Space Forces Association, responsible for producing original content and curating material for the organization. The role photographs and films AFA events, creates videos to document or promote AFA programs, and develops both in-house and paid campaigns.

It supports virtual and hybrid events from our studio and builds social media content to broaden AFA’s reach and attract a younger membership.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of multimedia production experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Media Encoder)
• Comprehensive knowledge of camera mechanics, lighting, audio, codecs, and frame rates
• Robust showreel demonstrating field shooting and post-production/motion graphics
• No certifications or licenses required

Responsibilities

• Operate cinema cameras, mirrorless systems, lights, and audio
• Direct and coach on-camera talent for interviews
• Produce motion graphics and visuals for videos
• Record live/virtual events and edit content for release
• Create branded text, lower thirds, transitions and color grade for consistency
• Organize files, maintain workflows and archives
• Export production-ready files for web, broadcast and mobile
