Job summary

Houston City College is seeking a Specialist, Multimedia (Part Time) to coordinate and capture video and photo content and produce a range of digital media including videos, reels, flyers, and web content. The role supports storytelling, drafts scripts, manages shoots, and distributes finished reels across platforms.

A Bachelor's degree is preferred and two years of video production experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant multimedia field.
• 2 years' experience in video production and digital content creation.
• Experience with MS Office and Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and capture video and photo content for assigned projects.
• Create and manage a calendar for video shoots, reels, and interviews.
• Draft scripts for videos and prepare questions for interviews.
• Record events and upload clips to the designated archive.
• Post-produce video content and publish reels on platforms.
• Create and share digital content across Houston City College social media.
• Coordinate with team members to maintain messaging and workflow.
