Job summary

The Story Behind in Jacksonville, FL seeks a video producer to create multimedia content for internal and client projects. You will script, storyboard, budget, plan shoots, and contribute to post-production.

Work independently or with a team to deliver projects, coordinate with clients, scout locations, hire crew, manage equipment and timelines. Requirements: Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year in related work; strong writing and communication; advertising/media planning experience preferred;

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Preferably Advertising/Media Planning experience or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for internal and clients' projects.
• Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects.
• Work independently, as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.
• Plan video shoots, scout, select and reserve shoot locations.
• Think steps ahead and provide solutions should production problems arise.
• Draft production schedules.
• Select and hire additional crew; direct and coach talent; arrange transportation for crew, talent and equipment; ensure location power needs are met.
• Reserve and rent equipment from rental houses.
• Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organising raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, management and archiving media.
• Manage video library.
• Evaluate final deliverables' performance and analytics.
