Job summary

Media Networks, Inc. seeks an experienced broadcast journalist to develop story ideas, verify facts through interviews and research, and shape narratives for multiple platforms in the Buffalo area. You will shoot video, edit for multimedia, and contribute to on-air and online news coverage.

You will also appear on TV programs, provide live reports, and collaborate with photographers, producers, and online staff to deliver timely, engaging content in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred.
• Generally, 3+ years of experience in related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits.

• Proficient at posting content to various websites
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Hourly: $29.81 - $34.62

Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in New York.
