Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a Multi-Media Journalist based in Salem, Oregon to report, shoot and edit daily news stories across TV, digital, social, streaming, and emerging platforms. You will develop enterprise stories, build contacts, and publish content for KATU and KVAL/KMTR while meeting daily deadlines.

You must shoot and edit your own stories, cover statewide issues and the statehouse when in session, and be willing to travel regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of reporting experience.
• Experience with live shots required.
• Must live in Salem, OR and travel to Portland for staff meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Report, shoot and edit news stories daily.
• Develop enterprise stories and cultivate sources.
• Publish content across TV, digital, social, streaming and emerging platforms.
