Job summary

TEGNA's WFAA-TV in Dallas seeks an experienced Multi-Skilled Journalist to tell compelling stories across TV, web and social platforms. You will shoot, write, produce and edit stories under tight deadlines while shaping content for multiple audiences.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of reporting experience, strong journalism judgment, and the ability to develop sources and craft engaging storytelling with graphics and digital tools. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years reporting experience preferred.
• Must possess solid news judgment and strong communication skills.
• Proven social and digital content creation ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform authoritative, compelling live shots in a developing story or breaking news.
• Develop story ideas and mine the community for sources.
• Shoot, write, produce and edit on air and online content within deadlines.
• Use social media and digital tools to research, discover and distribute content.
• Attend editorial meetings and offer story ideas daily.
