Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• 1–2 years reporting experience preferred.
• Able to shoot and edit with Edius, Premiere, or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong news judgment and storytelling skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Research, pitch, shoot, write, edit, and present stories for daily newscasts and digital platforms.
• Deliver live reports with clarity, confidence, and urgency.
• Create content that reflects and engages our communities.
• Develop and maintain sources in the community and stay on top of issues that impact our viewers.
• Actively engage with viewers on social media and through digital platforms.
• Collaborate with producers, photographers, and other MMJs to develop impactful content.
• Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
