Job summary

KSNT-TV/KTMJ-TV seeks a Multimedia Journalist to produce daily news content across broadcast and digital platforms. You will report, shoot, write, voice, edit and feed news stories that engage local audiences. The role requires pitching stories, collaborating with the newsroom, and delivering clear, accurate reporting.

You will also report live from the field, manage multiple assignments, and uphold journalistic integrity while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English and ability to report, shoot, write, and edit for multiple platforms.
• Experience with broadcast cameras and editing software.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Report, shoot, write, and edit compelling news stories for TV, digital, streaming, social, and mobile.
• Pitch new stories daily and develop coverage that matters to local audiences.
• Collaborate with newsroom staff to create impactful coverage plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with sources and officials.
• Research background information to provide complete, accurate reports.
• Review copy for errors and ensure journalistic standards and quality.
