Job summary

WDAF-TV FOX4 in Kansas City is seeking a curious, creative Multimedia Journalist who thrives in a digital-first newsroom and can deliver compelling content on broadcast, digital and streaming platforms.

You’ll enterprise stories, own your beat, and bring fresh ideas that connect with Kansas City audiences wherever they are. Pitch, research, shoot, write, edit and present original stories across TV, digital, and streaming platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field—or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of on-air reporting/MMJ experience (market size considered).
• Strong writing, shooting and editing skills; confident live performance.
• Ability to work efficiently, meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple assignments.
• Comfort working across platforms and adopting new digital tools.

Responsibilities
